Iconic stories. Designed to travel.

We create exhibitions that redefine what the format can be, combining powerful storytelling, theatrical scenography and multisensory design. From hybrid exhibitions built around original loans to fully digital immersive experiences, we devise formats tailored to a wide range of audiences. Our projects rest on a rigorous curatorial foundation, developed with major cultural institutions, and draw on the creative and production expertise of Museum Studio and its network of artists and collaborators. Alongside its original productions, The Travelling Collection supports the international circulation and touring of major cultural projects.

Each exhibition is a collaboration. From the very first conversation, we work hand in hand with museums to imagine and realise ambitious experiences and cultural institutions around the world invite us to bring those experiences to their audiences.

  • What is The Travelling Collection? +

The Travelling Collection is the catalogue of immersive touring exhibitions developed by Museum Studio. It gathers exhibitions by theme, designed specifically for touring and ready to adapt to a wide variety of cultural venues. Each exhibition combines powerful storytelling, immersive scenography and sensory innovation, backed by the curatorial and scientific expertise of leading international cultural institutions.

  • What is the difference between The Travelling Collection and Museum Studio? +

Museum Studio is an international group, a world leader in the development of premium cultural assets, and a subsidiary of Compagnie Chargeurs Invest. The Travelling Collection is its catalogue dedicated to immersive touring exhibitions, conceived as a turnkey offer for cultural institutions.

  • How many exhibitions are available in the catalogue? +

The Travelling Collection currently features 11 active touring exhibitions, organised across four themes: Iconic Stories (Meet Mona Lisa), Modern Art (Mucha), Cultural Heritage (Pompeii, Venice Revealed), and Contemporary & Digital Creations (Street Art, Clubbing, Pixels, Artificial Dreams, Playground Kids). The catalogue is regularly enriched with new productions. Contact us to learn more about exhibitions currently in development.

  • Is The Travelling Collection only for museums? +

No. While major cultural institutions — museums, art centres, foundations — are our core audience, The Travelling Collection is designed for any new-generation cultural venue: convention centres, heritage sites, galleries, event spaces or major tourist destinations.
